Described by the Journal of Music as 'one of Ireland's most renowned improvisers', Colm O'Hara is an Irish musician working across jazz, new music, improvisation, and contemporary composition. He performs and records with some of Ireland's leading ensembles, conducts at Emory University in Atlanta, and leads his own 10-piece group — the Colm O'Hara 10tet. With over 30 albums to his name and works premiered across Ireland, the UK, and Germany, his music draws from a wide range of traditions while remaining distinctly his own.
